Pakistan suspended the activities of the Haqqani network: U.S.

The U.S. has told Pakistan that Taliban militants blocked the activity of the Haqqani network.

In Washington, State Department spokesman said while briefing reporters Patrick uyntrl Haqqani network, the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her Pakistani counterpart, Hina Rabbani Khar, the interaction between the top was in Tokyo.

'' Now that we (for the delivery of supplies) have moved beyond the issue of restoration of the ground, we discuss cooperation in counterterrorism efforts will continue.''

State Department spokesman said Washington wants to increase pressure on Pakistan and the Haqqani network; it is very clear about our position.

He said the Haqqani Network fighters and U.S. troops in Afghanistan on its own citizens were involved in brutal attacks.

Pakistan has already said that terrorist acts against its territory to another country would not allow using against the militants in North Waziristan, opening a new front on the ground that the version of facts keeping in view that will decide.

Pakistani officials dismissed the allegations as baseless and have declared that the Haqqani network and security is the nexus between state agencies.
