ISLAMABAD: Security has been beefed up with a ban on entry of common citizens in the red zone area in the federal capital following the terrorist attack on district court, ARY News reported on Monday.
The security of Islamabad High Court has also been given under the Rangers.
Security forces have formed pickets on entry and exit points of the capital city. Red zone has been sealed and entry of common citizens is also banned. All arriving vehicles are also being thoroughly inspected in view of the security situation.
Police also arrested a suspected person near Kulsoom Plaza. Besides, police commandoes have been stationed at district courts, police stations and Adiala Jail.
Rawalpindi police was also galvanized into action following the armed attack on district court, and began search operation in different areas and arrested a suspect.
